The Ice Cream Farm, based just outside Chester, is gearing up for a half term of non-stop family fun, including a series of toe-tapping Betty Butterscotch live shows in the Playhouse, plus lots of Halloween activities including; pumpkin picking and limited-edition ice cream flavours.

After a series of successful shows, Betty Butterscotch will be returning to ‘The Playhouse’ tipi theatre at The Ice Cream Farm, from November 1st.

Inspired by the award-winning ‘The Greatest Showman’ film starring Hugh Jackman, ‘Betty’s Greatest Show’ will feature sing-along hits from the film, which are bound to get everyone in the crowd on their feet. The toe-tapping performances will be fully scripted with plenty of singing, dancing and audience participation to keep the whole family entertained.

Plus, until 31st October, families can get in the Halloween spirit by picking their own pumpkins straight from the pumpkin patch at The Ice Cream Farm. The pumpkin patch is a brand-new addition to the farm this year and families will be able to choose from an array of different types and sizes.

And for those who can’t wait to get decorating until they get home, there will also be mystical witchcraft sessions taking place from Friday 25th – Tuesday 29th October.

These sessions are £7 per child and include a pumpkin picking tour with a friendly witch, pumpkin decorating, and little ones can even get their hands messy making their own slime potions.

Visitors over the Halloween period will also be able to get their hands on a limited edition ‘Twilight Zone’ ice cream, creamy ‘Cheshire Plain’ ice cream with honeycomb pieces and gold sprinkles, served in a spooky black cone with orange sprinkles.

‘Betty’s Greatest Show’ takes place 1st-3rd November with 20-minute showings at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.

Tickets are £3 per child and can be purchased ahead of the event here: www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bettys-greatest-show-tickets-67182323137
