Cheshire Shops supporting you through Lockdown 2.0 #Blog

To allow more time to shop safely in Bents store for your essentials, They are now opening until 8pm Monday – Saturday and recommend these as a quieter time for key workers to shop.  

Bents website will feature a wide selection of Christmas products for online shopping and they are also expanding their click and collect service.  They will continue to review services and will provide updates if things change, but in the meantime if you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to contact them via email at: [email protected].

With Christmas quickly approaching Duttons of Kelsall – Wally’s Butchers are already starting to take orders for the finest, locally sourced, quality meats, we all love to enjoy during the festive season .

This year the product range throughout the shop has grown massively and we can’t emphasise enough how excited we are to try all their new ranges! They will also continue to provide all the favourite products we all love to consume on a weekly basis.

Duttons are offering a simple Click and Collect service

Ernest W Edge & Son Butchers in Handbridge, Chester  will also remain open during lockdown and continue to offer their wonderful Drive by service.

  They are ready for your orders. Please phone 01244 675156 to make your order, they will give you the price and take payment.

Park your car outside the shop and open the car boot. 

They pop your shopping in and you drive away, with all their delicious meats.

Oh and if you haven’t tried their Jalfrezi truffles with crispy onion top…you absolutely should! Lock down meals don’t have to be boring!!

H Clewlow Butchers, Nantwich are offering their £40 meat and Veg Pack for delivery within a 5 mile radius of the store. Their Meat Pack 2 for £50 is also deliverable within a 5 mile radius. Bespoke orders over £40 can also be delivered within the radius.

Unfortunately their online store is temporarily unavailable but they will take orders over the phone for collection 01270 625 366.

They can arrange Collections to be made between 9am and 4.30pm and their full range of pies is available.

H Clewlow are now taking orders for Christmas 2020 too, so you can still use this lockdown time to get organised.

As we head into another lockdown, Lowe’s Farm Shop will be remaining open. Obviously please practice social distancing when visiting the shop and please don’t go if you have symptoms.

Lowe’s will be working tirelessly to keep the shop stocked with all the wonderful products you have come to expect from them. Come rain or shine they will be cutting their fantastic range of homegrown vegetables that they are renowned for. Quality and freshness direct from the field…..Nothing is more important than staying healthy at this time, and what could be healthier than fantastic Field to Fork Freshness. 

Any elderly or vulnerable people please  contact the shop on 01606 832874 or email  at [email protected] with an order which they can make up for you to collect, they can bring it straight to your car so you don’t need to get out. They could also deliver where possible but please note that this service could be limited for the time being.

From Thursday 5th November, the forest lodges, outdoor seating and non-essential shops like the Christmas House will have to remain closed until the 2nd December

From Thursday 5th November, ALL AREAS SELLING FOOD at Little Budworth will remain OPEN including the farm shop, butchery, delicatessen and takeaway and the whole of the Lower Stretton site will remain OPEN too. 

At The Lambing Shed Farm Shop & Cafe you can still eat with in the Cafe until Thursday, when they will be closed again until the 2nd Dec!

The Farm Shop will remain OPEN as normal 7 days a week and is FULLY STOCKED with all your essentials…gin included CLICK AND COLLECT will carry on for those who don’t want to come in store and they will be adding more products to our website this week.

They look forward to welcoming you all back to the Cafe again in December with the FESTIVE MENU!

Oh…and CHRISTMAS TREES HAVE ARRIVED for those of you who are ready to get festive.  

Their 100% UK grown fresh potted Christmas trees come from a consortium of professional British Christmas tree farmers! They have four different types and sizes available but limited numbers so be quick! The young saplings are planted in the pots, sunk in the fields and carefully trimmed to produce proportioned small trees. They are great as a second addition to your cut tree for customers who like a small tree for the children or perhaps as a great addition to your front door!

Weetwood Ales and Distillery Shop are still offering Home delivery – they’ll deliver orders of at least £40 to Cheshire for free on weekdays. Call them with your order and payment and they’ll deliver according to your instructions. They have to keep this simple so it’s full cases of 12 bottles or cans, plus bottles of spirits.

So whether you want to get stocked up for Christmas, or you need a little Lockdown lubrication, Weetwood Ales are ready to sort you out!

As an essential business Whitmore & White Frodsham be staying open through Lockdown #2 just like they did last time!

Free local delivery is also still available, and you can now also PRE-ORDER online for Christmas – just select the pre-order option when you check out and they’ll contact you to arrange a delivery day in December.

Whitmore & White stores will be there 7 days a week as usual, the only change is that they won’t be able to use the outside seating, but there will  still be takeaway coffee! YIPEE!
