The Ice Cream Farm, based just outside Chester, is gearing up for a Halloween of non-stop family fun, with a line-up of spooktacular activities including; pumpkin picking, decorating, and ghoulish slime making. Plus, a limited edition ‘Twilight Zone’ black ice cream.

From 11th – 31st October, families can get in the Halloween spirit by picking their own pumpkins straight from the pumpkin patch at The Ice Cream Farm. The pumpkin patch is a brand-new addition to the farm this year and families will be able to choose from an array of different types and sizes.

And for those who can’t wait to get decorating until they get home, there will also be mystical witchcraft sessions every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the 11th – 27th  October, with sessions at 11am-12pm, 1-2pm and 3-4pm.

These sessions are £7 per child and include a pumpkin picking tour with a friendly witch,  pumpkin decorating, and little ones can even get their hands messy making their own slime potions. Booking is advised, please call 0800 133 7000.

Visitors over the Halloween period will be able to get their hands on a limited edition ‘Twilight Zone’ black ice cream, which consists of a Cheshire plain base, honeycomb pieces and gold sprinkles and will be served in a black cone with orange sprinkles. There will also be a selection of Halloween themed character serving mugs available from the parlour.

October will also see the launch of The Ice Cream Farm’s winter parlour menu, with delicious new additions including; ‘Milk & Cookies’, ‘Mince Pie’ and ‘Stem Ginger’, as well as a selection of warming desserts including; hot waffles, brownies, Christmas puddings and cookies.

Plus, there’s  lots of other indoor and outdoor activities to keep the kids entertained, including; Honeycomb Canyon – Europe’s largest indoor sand and water play, Strawberry Falls mini golf, Rocky Road mini Land Rover experience and Daisy’s Garden free play, with a life size, snow emitting ice cream tree!
