The Olive Tree Brasserie serve traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes with their own modern twists.

Whilst enjoying the restaurants stylish and contemporary surroundings and the extensive wine and cocktail menu diners have many options available to them. With an a la carte, early diner, lunch pronto and Sunday roast menu there’s definitely something for everyone. Fresh seafood specials and gluten free options are also available.

The Olive Tree are proud to be the first independent restaurant in the north of England to be a member of MSC, helping support sustainable fishing and stock levels in the seas. They boast quality ingredients which are sourced locally as well as from Greek suppliers.
As well as romantic meals for two and smaller gatherings, larger parties are also welcomed and can enjoy the use of the private dining rooms onsite. The team are passionate and are committed to providing diners with an exceptional experience on every visit.

We are located on the historic Watergate Row which leads from the Cross.

Our nearest car parks are Pepper Street, Princes Street (market car park - free parking after 3pm) or the Grosvenor shopping centre car park. The nearest parking for blue badge holders is on Hamilton Street, opposite the registry office.
