Just in time for Christmas, The Ice Cream Farm, based just outside Chester, launched five festive flavours in their record-breaking ice cream parlour, alongside a full line-up of events taking place over the festive period, guaranteed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.
This year, there’s five special Christmas flavours to choose from; ‘Stem Ginger, ‘Christmas Pudding’ and ‘Mince Pie’. Plus, two brand new flavours as dreamed up by customers in a competition launched back in August. The winning flavours, which are now on the menu, include; ‘Milk & Cookies’ and ‘Melted Snowman’, which is made from white chocolate flavour ice cream, swirled with clementine (for the carrot nose) and chocolate chips.
As well as the much-anticipated festive ice cream flavours, the award-winning attraction is hosting a whole range of events throughout December including; Santa’s Grotto, ‘Polar Passport’ and Breakfast with Santa.
Little ones can meet the man himself, as Santa and his elves will be visiting The Ice Cream Farm on selected days this Christmas. Children can explore the magical grotto, receive a gift, plus get a voucher for Christmas mug filled with their choice of ice cream, sauce and wafer from the parlour on the day.
There’s also the chance for all the family to experience breakfast with Santa on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between, 10-11am from the 6th-22nd December. Little ones will receive a tasty hot or cold breakfast, a wrapped gift to take home and of course, meet Santa!
New for this year, kids can take part in ‘Polar Passport’ and enjoy lots of activities, including; making reindeer food, baking Christmas cookies, festive crafts and story time with Mrs Claus. After completing the activities, they’ll then get a stamp on their special polar passport to take home.
Visitors can make the most of activities at the farm by purchasing a VIP Play Pass in the annual half-price sale, running throughout December.
Half price VIP Play Passes are available to buy online or at the farm and offer great savings as each play works out at 50p instead of the usual £4.50, saving you up to a huge £400! Best of all, the Play Pass has no expiry date and can be used between multiple children, so it’s sure to last a few trips in 2020.
As well as discounted access to activities, customers who purchase a VIP Play Pass receive; 10% off: Christmas activities, retail and food outlets, ice cream and sorbet take home tubs, events at The Playhouse and party bookings. Plus, access to exclusive ‘double discount’ days, as well as a special pack filled with The Ice Cream Farm goodies.
