Vote : Taste Cheshire Awards

The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards are back for 2024, and voting is now open.

Cheshire’s only publicly voted awards of this kind have been running for over 21 years and Taste Cheshire are proud to launch this year’s voting.

Last year, these awards saw more than 58,000 votes, which was a record, and Taste Cheshire are hoping to break that record again this year!

Voting will close Friday 6th September at 12 noon.

Voting for these awards is done by “open form” meaning we don’t create a shortlist of nominees, you can nominate ANY business from Cheshire and its surrounding areas that you feel deserves the award.

FAQs : – To clarify some of categories….

A Casual Eatery is one where you probably wouldn’t make a reservation and most likely has a take away option. (Cafes, sandwich shops etc)

Large Restaurants have 80+ covers, Small Restaurants have less than 80 covers.

Best Bar applies to venues that focus on drinks rather than food, they may have a food offering but will not ultimately be judged on it.

Best Use of Local Produce in a menu may apply to both food and drink menus within a venue.

Thanks for voting for the Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards 2024. We are now busy counting the votes and we will be in touch with the shortlisted nominees in coming days! Now that voting has finished, we will shortly be naming the top four/five nominations in each category who will be mystery dined by a panel of industry judges. These judges will then fill in a report on each venue, which becomes available to the venue after the winners have been announced, showing how their business was judged. The winners will be crowned at a glittering dinner on the 2nd October which will be held at the Pavilion at Chester Racecourse. Tickets for this night are just £80.00 per person with a table of ten costing just £750 and include a pre-dinner cocktail and a 4 course gala meal provided by Horseradish Catering. This is the one night of the year the hospitality industry, collectively lets its hair down and it is always one of the feature nights of the calendar.
