The Taste Cheshire Food and Drink Awards are back and have tallied a record number of votes from the public. With the total vote count exceeding 59,000, Taste Cheshire are delighted to be announcing the shortlisted finalists for 2023.
“I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to vote in this year’s awards; the power of these awards truly lies in your hands,” said Taste Cheshire CEO Briony Wilson. “After what has been a really trying time for all of us over the last few years—our sector has been impacted harder than most—it is truly heartening to see how many people have gotten behind their favourite places around the area. Thank you for returning and supporting us and all the shortlisted and nominated establishments. Because of you, the local regular customers, these awards mean so much to our food and drink industry!”
This year sees the re-nomination of some of last year’s winners but also features a whole host of new businesses from across Cheshire, some new to the awards and some, just new. Notably, new to the awards but nominated in no less than 4 categories, Groobarbs Farm in High Legh.
Now comes the next stage… in just a short amount of time all the nominees below will be mystery dined, shopped, stayed, and tasted by industry experts. All of this, ahead of the spectacular Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday the 27th of September at Chester Racecourse. Tickets for this event at £80.00 per person with a table of ten costing £750 and include a pre-dinner cocktail and a 4-course gala meal provided by Horseradish Catering.
This is a very special event for the food and drink industry In Cheshire where they collectively let their hair down and it is always one of the feature nights of the calendar.
